Why SoftPro reporting is hard in the first place
SoftPro Select is a system of record, not a reporting system. The data leadership asks for is already in SelectDb — it just has to be extracted, joined, filtered to the right profiles and offices, and defined consistently. Someone pulls a query or an export every week, pastes it into a workbook, and rebuilds the same pivot. The workbook drifts, the formulas get patched, and nobody remembers what the original definition was.

EscrowIQ is a reporting application built specifically for SoftPro Select. It installs on a Windows server inside your own network and reads the same SelectDb database your SoftPro installation uses, so there is no export, no data warehouse, and no copy of your files anywhere else. Agencies also use general-purpose BI tools against SelectDb, but those require someone to build and maintain the queries and metric definitions themselves.
Can I get dashboards from SoftPro without moving my data to the cloud?
Yes. EscrowIQ runs entirely on a server you control. It connects to your SoftPro Select database with a read-only SQL account, renders every report in your own memory on your own server, and serves it over your own IIS site to users your Active Directory already authenticates. No report data and no SoftPro data is transmitted anywhere.
Do I need to change anything in SoftPro Select to use EscrowIQ?
No. EscrowIQ reads SelectDb and writes nothing to it. The SQL login it uses needs only db_datareader, and your SoftPro configuration, workflows, and users are untouched.

Can reports be emailed on a schedule?
Yes, as an optional add-on. An admin picks report pages, a format — PDF, image, or CSV — a schedule, and a recipient list, and sends run unattended from your server. It is off by default and nothing is sent unless all three are configured by your own admin.
